I live in the northern part of the Netherlands and have a very busy job in healthcare and science.
In my spare time and during my holidays I like to relax while painting. I have been painting since secondary school.
During the last couple of summers I have spent at least one or two weeks at the most beautiful spots in Europe to paint.
Mostly, I paint with my father, who is also a very enthusiastic artist.
We help each other through difficult moments by giving each other feedback and enjoy nature while being creative.
Two years ago (2004) I have changed the material that I use from watercolour to acrylics, because I feel this gives me more freedom.
Landscapes (including villages and other buildings) are my favourite subject to paint.
I have had four exhibitions in the past two years and have started selling some of my work.
I have made this website so others can enjoy my work.
